[Husker] Hawkins and current staff

I didn't mean to infer this qualified as heavy-duty smack. The question was,
how will Hawkins treat the rivalry?

I think he did a smart thing. He is struggling and threw out the red meat
(ha ha ha) to focus the ire of the crowd on their hated rival rather than
the coaching staff.

My only point was he may be exposing himself to the rule of unintended
consequences; i.e.. he may want to keep it a friendly rivalry game, but will
the students accept it as that?

By the way, as happens with any change of regime, there is dissension in the
locker room. Will that affect the game if Nebraska can quickly grab the
Buff's throat?
