The more I think about it, I like the Huskers' chances in this offense on 4th downs (currently 10 for 15 on the season) even with a decent kicker.

Did anyone hear that was why? It could also be that they wanted to go for it anyway at that point. Just a guess, of course.

It was disappointing in the A&M game to see NU forgo a 45yd
field goal, evidently because it might be too long.
