NU beat Notre Dame in South Bend in 2000. NU was ranked #1 and
Notre Dame was ranked #23. NU was ranked #1 most of that season
until losing at OU. Before that, NU had a huge win against #2
ranked Washington in Seattle in 1997.
Except 2002, when NU lost to 3 ranked opponents on the road in route
to a 7-7 season, there haven't been that many chances: only 1 in 2001,
3 in 2002, only 1 in 2003, only 1 in 2004, and 0 in 2005.
