This will still be the season for CU. At their homecoming one of the coaches (maybe Hawkins?) got up at the bonfire at said "I would rather be 1-5 then be 5-1 and a Husker." They will come to play.

Where are all the naysayers??? This was a great win - we came back... we
hung in and completed the game. These kids would not quit - stuff we had seen
but not to this level... I was afraid of the Colo game because it was their
whole season - ours also if we lost... BUT WE DID NOT!!!!
GO BIG RED !!!

I agree win or lose there is no pressure to win the Big 12 North but I
believe there is a certain pressure to win. Counting the Big 12
Championship game NU could end the season 10-3, 9-4, or 8-5. I hope we can
but I doubt we beat Texas so we will probably end the season 9-4 or 8-5. I
may be wrong but I believe 9-3 would get us a lot better bowl than 8-4. I
know it is only one less loss but it seems to go that way. If we COULD beat
Texas and be 10-3 with a Big 12 championship we probably get a marquis bowl.
The Big 12 North isn't a stake anymore but I believe there is still quite a
little at stake. We just flat cannot lose to Colorado.

Not the victory but the action.
Not the goal but the game.
In the deed the glory.
