Not sure this got to the list????

Amen Lynette~! Hubby keeps saying that and I do not know the answer. :(((
Does anyone know if the coaches monitor this list? My hubby keeps screaming
how they always "go to sleep and play with no emotion in the 2nd half" What
can be done about that? Is it Callahan's fault? Or the defense coach for the
players who are supposed to be closer to their main and they are 20 feet
away so they can scamper away? I am technically challenged as to player's
positions but I think the defensive backs are way too far away to do any
good???? Pam Rietsch

About Lee Wilmart:

I talked to Stacey who is Lee's daughter today because Jeff had to go back
to Sweden for his job. Even though Lee is still in the ICU they feel he is
not life threatened any longer which is GREAT!!!!

They did the tracheotomy and also added a feeding tube into his stomach on
Thursday. The oxygen situation is still a problem because he aspirated some
of the stuff he up chucked during the accident but it is getting better. The
bigger problem is that he "was" a smoker, (he won't be able to do that any
longer I understand) and so his lungs are worse by adding both the accident
& the smoking.

They have removed the breathing tubes and so he has to now learn how to talk
using the tracheotomy tube cover when he wants to talk. From what I
understand that can be a large challenge.

They have him on morphine to cut the pain from both surgeries but at least
they are getting nourishment into his system through the tube. They hope to
wean him off of that to other forms of pain medication so he is more clear
headed.

He does come out of it for a few minutes every hour but he is very hard to
understand and he does not understand why people around him cannot decipher
what he is saying etc. So it is very very frustrating for him.

They are hoping to get him to perhaps a step-down facility or even if he can
go home and have a full time care giver there at his house while he recoups.
All of that is in the air at the moment. They seem to think that it will
take at least a month for him to get to a more normal point but considering
what he went through they believe he is lucky to be alive at all.

As I learn more, I will do another report. I am so thankful to the Lord that
he is still with us. He is a real friend and not sure what I would have done
without him. We have lots of similar likes between the historical stuff &
trains. <g>

And an AMAZING WIN! I'm dumbfounded!

I don't understand why we have a habit of letting down in the second
half - or the other teams are THAT GOOD at making adjustments and we
don't make any adjustments - but that seems weird.

All I can say is - a win is a win no matter how you get it!

Now, we have to stay focused and beat Colorado (you know they want to
ruin our season!) and then SOMEHOW play AN ENTIRE GAME against Texas.

I'm sure the coaches are wondering how the list will weigh in on our
2nd half let downs! :-)

Go BIG RED!

Lynette
