I've read that Carriker can launch a football some 70+ yards (I know, he sounds like Paul Bunyon).
That said, I wonder if we could have put him in at QB for the last play of the Texas game?
Sounds nuts, but with all the different huskers throwing touchdowns this year, why not?
--------------------
Why? Taylor threw two passes into the end zone, and in fact the first one was nearly perfect, hitting a receiver (possibly tipped, certainly sight-obstructed). You want the throw to be near the front of the end zone, so that a ball tipped up and over still stays in play. It's a low percentage play that usually only works by either luck or poor coverage.
