Sorry Roger if I appeared to come down on you. I didn't mean to do
that. I know you were just reporting what you had heard. It just struck me
as odd any coach leading by 60 plus points in the fourth quarter would put
his first string anything back in much less Fryar, Gill, and Rozier. And
then to say his reserves were tired so he had to put his first string back
in? Wow! I would doubt the opposing coach would see any humor in that
whatsoever getting beaten that badly. This was a game won 84-13. I will be
totally honest here. I have always upheld the Husker program under TO as
the crown jewel of college football at the time. But, I was very
embarrassed to be a Husker fan this night. Not because of the score.
Sometimes scores are difficult to hold down. But because with that kind of
lead in the fourth quarter we still have Gill, Fryar, and Rozier still in
the game and other first stringers still or back in the game. To me it
wasn't the greatest night in Husker lore. My last word on the subject.
