     I think I am probably the one poster you are referencing.  I didn't 
scoff at Ball State at all.  I just brought attention to how sometimes 
rankings don't necessarily show the strength of a given team.  I have never 
been one of those that believes because so and so did this against thus and 
so that means they must be as good or better than this and that.  In other 
words I never feel margin of victory against certain opponents really means 
much when comparing the strength of a third team.  Things change from week 
to week against different competition.  Different teams are in a different 
mental state for different games.  I am sure Ball State would have been much 
more motivated in this one than was Michigan.


     I still would have a hard time believing Ohio could beat Florida State 
or Miami unless we are talking one of those any given day any given team 
things.
