     Certainly doing homework is the announcers job.  But, with the amount 
of games Thorne logs in the broadcast booth I am sure it gets hard to get 
everything right every time.  I think it also happens more than we realize. 
We are just more sensitive to it when it is NU.  I honestly don't recall 
Thorne doing very many NU games, if any.  Usually it seems the Huskers get 
Joel Meyers on Fox Sports Net, a cross section of announcers on ESPN, and 
are "richly blessed" with Brent Musburger on ABC.
