[Husker] Winning the North (fwd)

Of course it didn't hurt to have what many consider the best all-around
running back in the history of the program and one of the better offensive
lines that the Huskers have ever fielded.

Talented depth is important, that is why recruiting misses are very costly.

This year there is no one even close to the ability of Mann or Bowman. It
could be argued a healthy Octavian would have made a great difference.
Dillard was starting to come into his own. Great teams don't play through
injuries, great teams have backups that could start for many other teams.
This is why we are not yet an elite team. There are many positions on this
team where we are one injury away from disaster.
