[Husker] And now Mizzou!

In sports with such a high turnover in players between meetings, I would
think that the probability of a particular outcome is for the most part
independent of the previous games and dependent on the quality of the two
teams, much like every day has the same probability of a 100-year storm even
if one happened on the previous day.
This game is indeed hard to pick since the mainstay of the Blackshirts--the
LBs are banged up. The DBs and DL will have to have a very good day.
Interesting that the offense managed to hold the ball for more than 30
minutes against OSU, but that didn't help the defense.

uff da.... Missouri has a good football team. It won't be a blow out.
They do have some darned good receivers and all-around they're pretty
good. They're a little dinged up, too, and that'll help us, but this game
won't be a destruction.
I hate to say it, but the fact that they haven't won in Lincoln since 1978
only increases the likelihood that they might this weekend...... it's in
the odds, isn't it? I hope not.
They've had trouble with stopping the run - injuries are piling up. Put
it this way, if have success running the ball early, we should win this
game. Force some turnovers.
