I'm not afraid of Chase Daniel. We faced him for
a while last year, and the Blackshirts ate him alive!
I remember it well -- and I'm sure Chase does too. :-)

Yeah, what else is new. Just about every team could
give our DB's fits. It's funny how a crucial injury
or two can turn a solid secondary to jelly. Hopefully
a couple more years of solid recruiting will give us
enough depth (across the board) to withstand such a
run of injuries.

Yes, it looks like running should be productive, but I
expect BC to mix it up. Hopefully we will take a lead
early and keep piling on the points (unlike our games
versus Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State, and Oklahoma
State -- where we took a two/three score lead and then
eased off).

When I first read that, I though you were suggesting a
win by 28 points (which sounds OK to me). But just a
seven point win (28-21)? I don't think so. The Husker
offense should be able to score 40 points; and if the
Blackshirts get to Chase Daniel (like I think they will),
Missouri will score less than 20.
Our last two games at Memorial Stadium were a loss (Texas)
and a near-loss (Kansas). This Saturday we need to give
the Tigers a good old-fashioned ass-kicking.
Cheers,
Steven
