[Husker] the infield fly rule

I found it humorous how the announcers on Fox Sports Net so willingly
displayed their ignorance of the infield fly rule. On a soft bloop to
NU second basemen Jake Opitz, Optiz intentionally dropped the ball, and
attempted to get a quick double play by throwing to second base and then
firing back to first.

The "expert" announcers remarked that the ump canceled the double play
because of "the infield fly rule." I imagine anyone who watches much
baseball found this to be pretty humorous. The infield fly rule can
only be invoked when there is a force out at 3rd base (i.e. runners on
first and second or the bases are loaded). Kansas only had a runner on
first.

I imagine the only reason Optiz didn't get the call was because it
looked like he had control of the ball the whole time after the catch,
so the ump ruled it a catch. If he would have let it drop before
fielding it, there wouldn't have been an issue. Of course, that can
always be pretty risky when you have a sure-fire out.
