Well said, Eric.  Pavelka, and then Swain, and now Rose, have all been
singled out for copious abuse while they've occupied the play-by-play
chair.  Jim has had some cringe-worthy moments -- I can't think of a sports
announcer who hasn't -- but on balance I'm glad we have him.
