"Fair" price and "successful" season are judgements relative to
what the market will bear and expectations for winning.  I'm not
surprised that SP raised prices or that most people will pay the
increased price without cries of unfairness.  It seemed a good
time for SP to raise prices --- he couldn't last year because
success was so much lower than expectations --- and we'll have
to see if he can raise them much next year.  After the losing
season in BC's first year and the lack of success in the middle
of the season last year, fans regarded closing with three wins
as success (even if it is not what success used to be).  With
expectations running so high for 2006, a fair price for 2007
season tickets may be subject to different judgments about
success.
