Just announced, Nebraska is in the NIT, traveling to
play Hofstra in the first round. This game will be
March 16th.

This year, there are four brackets and teams are
"seeded" just like the NCAA tourney. Nebraska is the
6th seed in one of the regions, Hofstra is the 3. If
NU wins, they would play Penn State, Rutgers or St.
Joseph's (play in game between Rutgers and Penn St.)

Creighton is also in the NIT, a 2 seed in their
region. They will host the winner of Temple and Akron.
