Gary,

I have to say that I always have been on the Barry bandwagon and I
have defended him here and in real life. As far as helping the
students and being a stand up guy, He'd have my vote 10 times out of
10. He's a class act and I don't think anyone objects to his
character.

As a gameday coach I was very frustrated tonight. It seemed to me
that we were clearly the better team. The most obvious coaching error
I could see was Marcus Walker handling the ball for the majority of
the night (with many turnovers as a result) EVEN with a much more
sure-handed guy in Richardson in the game. A BIG MISTAKE. Again, it
seemed that the end of the game the Huskers let it slip away.

I don't know. I honestly don't. I am really not sure that letting
Barry go is the best idea, but at the same time, I don't know if I can
defend him much more. If it were football, he would have been gone
last year, but this is basketball. Arguably the #4 sport in
Huskerland (Football, Baseball, W Volleyball, Basketball) although it
would probably be #2 with a successful program.

I would like to see Barry get another year. This team is clearly
better than the last (even after they lost their best player) and I
would like him to continue here until that is no longer true.

Oh well, I know that Gary and I are in the minorty, but hopefully
we're right.

Thanks for reading,

Skylar
