Is the purpose of this to target Husker tickets or is it for the Qwest
center? I would hazard a completely uninformed guess that it might be
targeted towards the Qwest center now that they are getting bigger acts.
I had a friend that was buying U2 tickets across the country in states
that didn't have scalping laws and selling on eBay. It was a guaranteed
tripling of his money if not more (he could buy a total of 6 or 8 at a
time). I told him he was scum and he laughed all the way to the bank.

If this bill doesn't outlaw ticket brokers (the real source of the
problem) from doing the same thing, then it will likely have the
opposite of the desired effect. Tickets will be more expensive since
there would be less competition in the 2nd-hand market. Even if it does
outlaw those despicable companies, I'm not convinced that it would make
Husker tickets any easier to get ahold of for the average fan.
