I like Steve Stone's and here are my top two:
The top of my list is Zack Taylor. First of all, his name makes him sound like
one of the signateurs of the Declaration of Independence. He brings his little
sister who has Downs Syndrome to the games. He took an unbelievable beating and
nearly every time got back up throughout a long season--he could have gotten
frustrated and started whining but never did. And he, IMO, single-handedly
pulled the season from the jaws of sub-500 or worse, and saved us all from a
bitter civil war in the Husker Nation.
A close second is Colonel Greg Austin who may need bionic knees before he leaves
UNL.
I also have some favorite proposed nicknames for Brent Mussberger next
September:
Terrence "The Flying" Nunn
"Dirty Harry" Callahan
Frantz "Ferdinand" Hardy
Todd "No Relation" Peterson
Ola, "Me LLamo" Dagunduro, and
Cody of the Glenn
Derek

Subject: [Husker] Favorite(s)
Every Husker fan has his secret favorite(s) in one category or
another. Here are some of mine:
Favorite True Freshman: Matt Slauson. Without him, the season might
well have ended much differently.
Favorite Redshirt Freshman: Nate Swift. With a name like Swift, he
has to be good. :-)
All-Squad Favorite: Brandon Rigoni. The shortest guy with the longest reach.
and so on.
Let's see yours.
Steve Stone
