[Husker] Coaching Changes $$$

All due respect to Mr. Fead and his opinion. 6 years
of Barry Collier is plenty. Nebraska basketball is an
embarrassment to the entire state.
While I do understand the economics Gary is referring
to regarding coaching changes, the point I'm making is
that if you get the right guy a turnaround can be made
almost instantly in basketball as opposed to football
which has different dynamics and takes longer.
Getting the right guy? I don't know how to do that
but I've seen it done other places and am watching it
currently in my own backyard. The Tennessee -
Nebraska basketball situations have been remarkably
similar over the years. Tennessee did something about
it. Nobody bankrolled the buyout at Tennessee to my
knowledge.
Maybe nobody else cares and is willing to accept
sub-par inconsistant efforts. All people really want
is to see the players do the best they can on a
consistant basis. This is not happening.
I believe that there is enough talant on this current
team to not get blown out by 40 something to Kansas,
26 to Creighton, and by 13 at home to ISU. It will
continue to happen as long as this current staff
allows excuses, and does not punish lack of effort.
