Speculation on local radio today suggested that Joe
McCray was late arriving for the game.  Reportedly, he
arrived at the Devaney Center 45 minutes before the
game.  Greg Sharp and Matt Davison were baffled as to
why McCray wasn't playing in the first half, so the
suspension was not announced before the game.

I thought the turning point of last night's game was
the final minute of the first half.  Iowa State nailed
2 three-pointers to extend a 5 point lead to 11,
sucking the wind out of the crowd and the team as they
went into the locker room.  When you consider that
Dourisseau and Wilkinson missed most of the first half
due to foul trouble, I thought the Huskers played well
for the first 13 minutes of the first half, and not
too badly for the first 19.  But the last minute put
them in a hole they couldn't dig themselves out of.
