Ditto. In fact, I would be shocked if they aren't in the B12 Championship Game and possibly a BCS game. With the exception of USC all of the tough games are at home, we return a whole lot of experience and a team in general that seems to finally be "getting" BC and the other coaches system. Throw in the opening of the new facilities and 2006 is poised to be a return to glory for the scarlet and cream. 

As for the pre-season #1 (as mentioned in a post by Mike Nolan), the likely choice will be LSU. They are L-O-A-D-E-D with talent and could be scary good like USC the last couple of seasons. They return most of the team that destroyed Miami in the Peach Bowl, including if I am not mistaken, their normal starting RB and QB who didn't even play in that game due to injury. 

Any way you cut it, anyone who has anything but high hopes and optimism for the 2006 Huskers is someone just being negative for the sake of being negative!
