[Husker] Middle Tennessee State

Now there's a thought.  Have a homecoming game for Barry Turner at the Coliseum in Nashville (Tennessee Titans home field) just up the road from where he played high school ball in Brentwood.  Unfortunately, I don't think NU has the fan base in the southeast to make that game pay as well as say, Arrowhead or some other Midwestern venue as an alternate site.  And even though NU has had the Bullocks twins and Turner from this area in recent years, I can't see them luring any of the four or five star recruits from this area out of SEC country on a regular basis just because they might play a team from this area once in a blue (raider) moon.

I'm pretty sure that Middle Tennessee State is a Division I school, having made the move from Division IAA to Division I a few years ago I believe. Nebraska has played MTSU in the past as well. As far as a home and home series that is extremely unlikely unless the MTSU "home" game is played at a neutral site like Atlanta or Nashville perhaps.
