[Husker] Cosgrove and the NFL possibility

Was Pete Carroll (USC) ever a head coach?  Just curious.  Of course --
Nebraska (as much as I love the weather) is not California.

we have to entertain the thought of losing Cosgrove to the NFL.--Steven

Easy come, easy go. 

We also have to be ready someday (probably sooner rather than later) for
a BC jump back to the NFL. As much as we may become endeared to him, and
unlike TO or the Bobfather, once you've tasted the fruits of the big
leagues, they've gotta always be in the back of your mind somehow. 

I plan to enjoy next season for what it is, and not worry about
"tomorrow." It usually takes care of itself.
