I think that Muhammad, Turner, and Carriker would provide great speed at the DT postition but are any of them really big enough to play the postition? I dont just mean that as strength wise but also big enough to take the continous pounding that those interior lineman take every game. Also wasn't Glenn recruited to be a fullback? Or did he play fullback in Highschool and then became a HB here?

As someone has previously noted, Wali Muhammad is trying to get an extra
year, which would add further to the depth at DE.

There aren't any other names currently on board. Some help may come from the
recruiting class, but this position is, IMHO, the major concern for 2006. I
wonder if we won't see one or two of the DEs move to tackle.

We have Todd back at FB, backed up by Grant Milller (if he can stay out of
trouble and hasn't already worn out his welcome), so we're okay for 2006.
After that, it gets a little dicey. The cupboard will be bare of scholarship
FBs, and the recruiting services don't show any commitments at that
position. Are the coaches looking to move someone from another position?
