[Husker] why we need basketball at Nebraska

This thread about SP, walk-ons, and etc. etc. etc, is why we need a good 
basketball program. You know what's next, right? The ghost of Frank Solich 
was exorcised (mostly by himself unfortunately),  but what about the 
comparison from Nebraska to Miami and Larry Coker's firing of several 
assistants who've been around for years. 

Next up - Steve Pedersen, boxers or briefs? (A seemingly innocuous 
question until you realize that each type hates the other with a passion.) 
ARGGHGGHGGHGHGH! 

It's over a month until baseball season, for crying out loud. 

Where are the wrestling fans to comment on their sport? What about women's 
basketball? UNO Hockey? 

Dear List Manager: 

Can we suspend the rules about discussing Husker stuff for two days to 
discuss the upcoming Texas/USC game, then after that conduct a poll 
concerning who'll die first (or who we'd like to see die) between JoePA, 
Bobby Bowden or Beano Cook (yeah, I know it's tasteless, but we might get 
that desperate). 

Perhaps you could make some more tasteful suggestions, oh thoughest of 
high-esteem!
