I've been intentionally quiet this season, reading all the posts but not
wanting to get too excited about wins or too disappointed about

Have felt pretty much the same way, Jay...Can't say I've read ALL the
posts in 2005, but a few. Went back home after Christmas and watched the
bowl game with family, some of whom seemed pretty casual about even
turning it on...

I take heart in the future after seeing the kind of effort the team
expended. It's been a long time since NU used the pass to set up the run
('73 ??) but whatever works...

Interesting in reading Babcock's "Stadium Stories" which was a gift from
my mom, to be reminded by the author that Osborne really WAS a "pass guy"
compared to Duffy Daugherty and the Bobfather...and had to gradually
"learn" by seasons of hard knocks that he might have to change that
thinking.  Of course all those losses to OU may have had something to do
with that re-thinking  :)

Looking forward to the '06 season !!!
