[Husker] Huskers spank CU

Before talking about winning any more games, what is the deal with KSU and TX?
TX was so unbeatable early on and now they get spanked by OSU and barely hold
off KSU--Barnes should be nervous ;)  And has KSU found a spark, or is TX
slumping?  KSU did thump CU before almost upsetting TX.

Did Gary Barnett show up to spur on the buffs last night?  They certainly looked
like they had some of his fizzle in them after falling behind.

In my estimation aTm is a must-win for the Huskers to have any chance of getting
a date to the Dance.  They didn't take care of business against TT; perhaps poor
preparation for Jackson propelled the matchup D against Roby.  I was surprised
in a good way that Wilkinson and Maric dominated so well against the CU inside
game.  Dourisseau et al. has to keep that intensity against Acie Law in the
not-so-inspiring Reed Arena at aTm.

Coming home to play KSU, which the Huskers match up well against, after beating
aTm would be great.  After getting beat by aTm would make the KSU game a
desperation shot, and put a tremendous amount of pressure on them before facing
MU at MU, a team that could be getting energized after dropping GQ-boy Snyder.

If the Huskers couldn't pick it up in the waning minutes against TT, they
absolutely MUST pick it up consistently down the stretch in their season and
win three winable games.  If not motivated to carry the program into the B12
tourney, at LEAST be motivated by the need for my prediction of a season-ending
sweep to be fulfilled--I mean, come on! :)

It looks like intensity could get the Huskers into the post-season and turn this
team into overachievers.

If the Huskers win out, I'd expect them to get a #4
seed and get a first round bye in the Big XII
tournament.  Winning 2 would put them in the
championship game then.  Obviously, winning 3 would
get them an autobid. :-)
