The big one from today's action is Oklahoma State, fresh off their loss to
Nebraska on Tuesday in Stillwater, taking out Kansas State in Manhattan by a
score of 63-61. As Steve R. pointed out earlier this week, if you're a Husker
fan looking at the conference race, this was a big win for OSU as K-State
drops to 3 and 5 in the conference (they started the day tied for 6th, 7th and
8th with ISU and Texas Tech, right behind NU in 5th). OSU improves to 3 and
5.
Texas Tech ended up beating Missouri in Lubbock by a score of 73-55. Both
Quinn Snyder of Mizzou and Jim Wooldrige at KSU will have the heat turned up
as high as ever after today.
The other afternoon game saw league-leading Texas beat Texas A&M in Austin,
83-70. A&M actually competed pretty well for most of the game.
Nebraska hosting Baylor is the only other conference game today. Sunday has
OU at KU and CU at Iowa State.
