     I am not sure the total reason but there has be very very little conversation on the list about the Cotton Bowl.  There could be a variety of reasons for that.  Maybe people are genuinely disinterested.  It really doesn't seem to have the hoopla bowl games did years ago not even in Nebraska.  In the pre-BCS days the Cotton Bowl was one of the big four.   New Years Day was major bowl day and you got to see the Cotton, Sugar, Rose, and Orange Bowls.  To go from no bowl two years ago, to the Alamo last year, and to the Cotton this year shows big strides.  I think this one will be extremely tough for NU to win.  I think they can win it but it will be tough.  I remember saying a couple of years ago if Callahan has the team back in the top 25 in 3-4 years I will say he has done a good job.  So far he is on that pace.
