Since there has been recent comment about the 
importance of the archives as a resource for 
new users, I'd like to remind everyone of the 
following statement on the "BasicLinux Support" 
page:

You can use google to search the message archive.   
Click here and replace xxx with the word(s) you 
are searching for.

I have just tried that link and used it to search
for information.  It works fine.
