     I probably should be replying to Gary's post  because he stated the 
concept originally.  Really I have more of  a question than anything else.  I 
wasn't aware that whatever tickets the  participating schools didn't sell they had 
to reimburse the Bowl that  amount.  Doesn't that make going to a bowl game 
an extreme gamble in some  situations for some schools?  Who can predict how 
well your fans will  travel to any given game?  I realize expenses accrue in 
going to a  bowl game such as lodging, travel, transporting the equipment, and 
the  like.  But beyond that I thought, at least the major bowls, were  pretty 
much guaranteed money and, among other things, that is what made it  attractive 
to go to one.  But, it could be a real loser if a  school gets stuck with a 
lot of tickets.  Is that the way it is or did I  misunderstand?
