[Husker] Auburn Ticket Sales

Hi Everyone:

To reply to Mike's question earlier ticket sales in Alabama (Auburn) are going worse than they are here at Nebraska. I think Auburn has sold around 7,500 tickets. 

I believe that NU has sold around 9,000 tickets out of 12,500, which by the way if NU does not sell those other 3,500 tickets they must pay for them (3,500 x $90.00 = $315,000), as part of the contractual agreement for participating in the bowl itself. This is standard operating procedure with the bowl games that the participating teams must guarantee a certain number of ticket sales. NU will be lucky to break even on this particular bowl appearance.
