First of all -- who are you 3aoo-cvfd at dea.spamcon.org? Most folks sign
with their name or can be identified by their e-mail address. I've
wondered this for a while -- mainly because your opinions are expressed
so strongly -- but seeminly anonymously. Apologies if that sounds
harsh... Just something that has occurred to me. Perhaps I just missed
your name somewhere along the line.
Secondly, I wouldn't call this a ringing endorsement of the players and
coaches and definitely wouldn't call it 100% support:
"I will be thrilled if we get a better QB (Sam Keller?). I will
be thrilled if we get a better Defensive Coordinator. But until that
happens, I'm backing our current players and coaches 100%."
For instance imagine saying something like that to your wife (apologies
for the metaphor Stone). I don't think she would feel your 100%
support.

Yes, I would like to forget about FS and BP. Picking at the scabs only
leads to acrimony. Do we have the best possible coaches? No. Do we
have the best possible players? No. But they are our team and we
support them.
I have no problem when someone points out poor performance by a player
or coach. Sometimes we make mistakes -- we need to recognize them and
learn from them. However, the constant carping criticism of a
particular individual is not welcome.
A case in point is the performance of our defense at Kansas City.
The defense did a great job of stopping Oklahoma on the ground and only
gave up 14 points in the air. Compared to our defense versus Oklahoma
State, it was a superb performance. But did that stop the "Fire
Cosgrove" crowd? No. We get the same old arguments.
I support Zac 100%. I'm glad he is our QB. However, he threw the game
away at Kansas City -- a better QB would have won it for us.
Nevertheless I'm backing Zac at the Cotton Bowl (and hoping for the
best).
Is it too much to ask the "Fire Cosgrove" people to do the same?
Point out his mistakes (when he makes them), but give him your support
and hope for the best.
I will be thrilled if we get a better QB (Sam Keller?). I will be
thrilled if we get a better Defensive Coordinator. But until that
happens, I'm backing our current players and coaches 100%.
