Not exactly sure why we are even discussing this - Cousin Rich (and by
association Bill) are just drive by flamers of one sense or another - post a
highly charged email from someone 'with much more knowledge than I'- say I won't
respond to anyone's comments because I am off board - then magically reappear
to come down to our level and respond to some comments about his flame!!!
Then say - sorry, I'll go back in my hole now!! OK bye!

Hey, can I play too?
How about this one: Bill is a [jerk]. Did I get that right?

Yes, we stopped the vaunted Oklahoma running game.

So what? We only gave up 14 points (to a Top 10 team).

Who exactly was supposed to carry the ball for the last
25 minutes? Brandon was gone. Marlon had a bad back
and was too important to the passing game to risk
pounding the rock. Cody, I believe, had some sort of
injury. Kenny played for a short while, but didn't
play well.

Besides, we were down by 14 points for the entire 4th
quarter. We naturally looked to the passing game for
some quick scores.

Please. Zac is confused, and you blame it on the coaches?
Zac is a big boy. He's watched the film. He's done the
reps. He carries the can.

When Zac plays well, we justifiably sing his praises --
Zac gets the credit, not the coaching and scheming. So
when Zac plays poorly, the blame goes on him, not on the
coaching and scheming.

It's amazing. Our defense was so bad, yet Oklahoma was
only able to score 14 points on them.

> It tells you how [ridiculous] our defensive coaching is!

I don't know why you guys want to keep rehashing this [crap].
We did not lose to Oklahoma because of our [ridiculous]
defense. We lost because Purify fumbled in the first minute.
We lost because Zac turned the ball over four times.

Turnovers lost us the game. It wasn't the coaches; it wasn't
the gameplan. We out-yarded Oklahoma on the ground. We out-
yarded them in the air. Our defense held them to 14 points.
The game was ours for the taking. The fact that we fumbled
the game away is not the fault of the coaches.
