With all due respect to Cousin Rich....

When we had Bullocks, Bullocks and Washington, this team was a Solich team
that didn't buy into the new coach's schemes, or were unwilling or unable
to learn them. As evidence, I submit the 70-10 drubbing at Texas Tech. The
first year under Callahan this team was lost, and I don't think it's a
fair comparison to use them as an an example of anything, whether good or
bad.

I agree with Jeff Volk about the safeties. Neither of the safeties we had
this year would have played for Osborne. I was very surprised to see
Shanle as an honorable mention Big 12 player.

I noticed that Cousin Rich didn't address the inability to switch to
Nickel, or anything about the corners with the exception that Grixby
didn't play on the line all night.

This set of coaches has assembled an offense, and we've seen the results
of that on the field. To be fair, the defensive set of coaches hasn't had
a full defense to work with.
Once they do, I'd be willing to listen to Cousin Rich's ranting as much as
anybody, but for now, I think he's full of it, at least as much as I am.
Maybe more. That'a a lot of it. And then tell the #)$*#)$*@#@#!@ that I
said "Merry Christmas!"
