[Husker] Recruiting - DBs

Many on the List (me included) have noted the travails of NU's secondary
this year. Help is very definitely on the way. This year, the Huskers
recruited four good DBs - Ricky Thenarse, Major Culver, Corey Young and
Anthony West. The first three have all played some this year; I don't
think West has seen action, but I could be wrong about that. Look for
some or all of these young men to contribute next year, particularly at
safety.

Yet more help is on the way next year. NU has commitments from no less
than six DBs: Anthony Blue, 5-10, 172, 4.57 forty; Armando Murillo (JC),
6-0, 195, 4.4; David Ross ("soft" verbal), 6-0, 174, 4.5; Shawn
Sullivan, 5-11, 182, 4.4; LaTravis Washington (Fabian's cousin), 6-3,
210, 4.55; and DeAndre West 6-1, 195, 4.4. (The forty times probably
merit at least a grain of salt, but no doubt these kids can all run.)

Perhaps next year - and certainly by 2008 - the coaches will go from
scrambling to find DBs, to scrambing to figure out how to get more of
these guys on the field.
