Nebraska kept it close in the second half. The Huskers trailed only 59-56
with two minutes to go in the game, but Oregon closed with a rush. Doc didn't
appear to be too happy with some of the apparent 'breaks' that didn't go
NU's way. Aleks Maric got in early foul trouble and only played five minutes in
the first half. He ended up with 12 points and 6 boards. Freshman Ryan
Anderson again played well. Three-point specialist Ryan Velander hit four treys
and finished with 12 points.

Oregon's undefeated and they are a good team. NU, 5-2 on the season,
doesn't play again until Sunday, December 17 against Alabama A&M in Lincoln.

NU's travel schedule is unreal. From December 2 through 30, they will have
traveled to New Jersey, then back to Lincoln between games, then west to
Portland, then back to Lincoln, out to Hawaii, then across the country again to
Miami. Doc's not too happy with the schedule either, but he DID say they've
adopted the "take what's dealt us" approach.

The Huskers had their work cut out for them today and they competed.
Unfortunately, it wasn't enough against a good team.
