That case has already been tested in court.  The NCAA used to have  
complete control over the television contracts.  That's why during  
the 70s, there was only one college football game a week on TV.  In  
1982, Oklahoma and Georgia sued under the antitrust act and won,  
freeing schools to independently negotiate television contracts.  Of  
course, most schools then ceded negotiating authority to their  
conferences.
