There are those who claim that BYU had no credible claim the year they
were undefeated and won the MNC.  

Michigan and Penn State had pretty credible claims to a share of the
title in those respective recent seasons, one did, one didn't.

We all know this will come down to money--eventually.  And I think we
all know which way the money will push it.

As the old joke goes, we know what you are, we're just haggling over
the terms.
