     The polls are the reason I have never gotten overly serious about 
college football.  I watch it and enjoy it but I also realize the champion 
is pretty much determined by opinion and computers.  Michigan has one loss 
and Boise State has none but Michigan's only loss was to the number one team 
in the number one team's back yard.  Except for an upset or the any given 
day any given team syndrome does anyone really believe Boise State could 
beat Michigan?  In my opinion two things would have to happen to make 
college football a lot more fair and interesting.  One is no polls until at 
least the first of October and the other is a playoff system.
