I think one of the "tweaks" that should be made is an additional .1 or
.2 bonus for winning your conference championship game. The teams
which must play in one take an additional risk, and should be suitably
rewarded, and removes the slight advantage that PAC-10, Big 10, and
independents have in not having to play one more "probably good" team
before getting their bowl spots.
