Interesting observation, found on (of all places) The Corner at National
Review Online -- I'd never noticed this, but it makes sense:

A football observation of no significance or relevance [Rich Lowry]
You know how when you learn a new word you suddenly see it everywhere? Well,
a few weeks ago I was watching a college football game and someone fumbled a
punt reception. The color guy pointed out that when guys drop punts, it is
almost always because they don't have their feet set. Now, every time I see
a punt dropped, I look at the feet, and sure enough, they are not set and
square. I mean every single time. It's been a revelation.

You know, education, if you make the most of it, if you study hard and do
your homework, and
you make an effort to be smart, you can do well. If you don't, you get
stuck in Iraq. - John Kerry
