What I remember is before Pinnacle Sports NU football could be heard on
four originating stations. Those being WOW (Joe
Patrick), KLIN (Bob Zenner, Tom Hedrick, Don Gill, etc.), KFOR (Dick
Perry,Tim Moreland, Ray Scott), and KFAB (Bremser, Kent Pavelka). The way
I took the wording is Patrick was doing post game interviews. --Bob Beach

I remember a little differently. Joe Patrick did sports for KETV and did
an outstanding Sunday-night "Bob Devaney Show" for several years. Joe had
a relaxed, easygoing manner and was the perfect match with the Bobfather.
I don't recall him EVER doing radio play-by-play.
Bremser was initially teamed up with "color" man Dave Blackwell, who was
an Omaha TV weather guy for a few years. I think Dave also did some
Husker Basketball broadcasts in the Cip era, if memory serves.
I can't recall the WOW announcer but he had a distinctive voice, and
later did halftime interviews with Chuck Neinas (Big 8 Commissioner) etc.
in the Pavelka era on KFAB. Kent was the "color" guy for Bremser after
Blackwell moved on.
The Game of The Century was broadcast on ABC-TV with Chris Schenkel and
Bud Wilkinson (color.) NU fans at the time grumbled about having to
listen to the former Sooner coach at all. He seemes strained at times to
comment positively about NU.
I vaguely ssem to recall someone did a re-make of the game using ABC (or
NU staff ?) footage "cut" to the Bremser broadcast. I have no idea if
that is commercially available or not.
