Hello Husker Fans,

I'm letting you know up front that I saw this information somewhere
else and I'm copying it. Since it's all statistical information and
not comment, I don't believe there's an issue with it.

Below is stats that compare how WRs did against us as opposed to
other teams. It's a little eye opening.

  Opposing Receivers 2006 Stats
  -----------------------------------------------------------------
Opponent Leading WR | Catches | Yards | TDs | vs other 2006 games
  La. Tech - Holland, J. | 7 | 139 | 1 | Most catches, most yards
  USC - Jarrett, D. | 11 | 136 | 2 | Most catches, most yards
  Kansas - Murph, B. | 8 | 129 | 1 | Most catches, most yards
  Kansas - Fields, D. | 8 | 108 | 0 | Most catches, most yards
  Iowa State - Blythe, T. | 6 | 96 | 1 | Most catches, most yards
  Kansas State - Moreira, J. | 6 | 86 | 0 | Most catches, 3rd most yards
  Kansas State - Gonzalez, D. | 4 | 72 | 0 | 2nd most catches, most yards
  Texas - Sweed, L. | 8 | 119 | 1 | Most catches, most yards
  Texas A&M - Bennett, M. | 6 | 67 | 0 | Most catches, 2nd most yards
  Colorado - Crawford, C. | 5 | 79 | 0 | Most catches, most yards
  Oklahoma - Kelly, M. | 10 | 142 | 2 | 2nd most catches, 3rd most yards

It's pretty hard to spin a positive on this one. 10 receivers have
their some form of their best game of the year against us? Yikes.

Here's hoping we land some DBs and Zach Bowman gets 100% next year!

Personally I really had hoped Thenarse would have gotten a few more
chances this year. He looked good the very few times we saw him, I
thought. That being said, I know I don't see them every day and he
may not be that good or ready.
