Actually, he's teaching Communication Arts at Catawba College in North
Carolina. I believe he's also doing the play-by-play of their games on the
campus station.

Yes, he was also teaching - in broadcasting at KU - and called some of
their sports for awhile; I don't know if that's still the case. He also
authored a book on sports broadcasting.

Don continues to host a weekend big band show on NET Radio. In August, he
was elected to the Nebraska Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame.
