[Husker] Think About This

Taylor was playing against an incredible defense with an OL that was not
picking up the defensive ends or blitzes. For as good as BJ is, he missed a
couple key blocks. Taylor stood in there several times, including the TD
pass and took shots after getting the pass off. The OU defense was
something that NU hasn't seen before, including the USC defense. IMO these
teams were very closely matched except for the speed in the OU secondary and
DL. Taylor just didn't have the arm strength to beat the speed in the
secondary though he made reads that would have resulted in TDs against other
teams.

Not that you don't but I have more respect for his heady play and toughness
than ever. I'm a huge fan of Taylor's because of his impeccable class and
what he has brought to the program. I wish he could have ended his program
on a higher note, such as going to the Fiesta Bowl, though I'm sure he will
give everything and then some in the Cotton.
