[Husker] Saturday's matchup

It's harder to grip and release the ball.

The ball filled with cold air doesn't travel as far or as fast as a ball with warm air.  

On short passes, if the QB tries to put "zing" on the ball it is more difficult to catch. 

Fingers/hands of the receievers are less nimble. 


btw, Anyone remember the 1981 AFC Championship Game, Chargers v. Bengals?  It was colder than the famous Packers/Cowboys 1967 Ice Bowl.  The Cincy D didn't have to stop Fouts & Co, minus 20 something did it already.
