However, you are correct that NU played FSU after the
'93 season and not '94 (that was Miami in the Orange
Bowl).  NU also played FSU after the '92 season.

As for the AD position, I do believe that Osborne
would have liked to at least have been considered for
that position.  In recent years, the AD position is
more of a business job than a coaching job, which I
believe is why NU decided to hire Bill Byrne.

And if Charlie McBride said that this happened, I'll
take his word for it.
