More experience in a specific offense does not neccessarily make for the
best quarterback.

Waiting three or four years is irrelevant to the Keller situation since
the most he can do is force a recruit to the sidelines for one year.
There's very few elite programs where a true freshmen can come in and
start at QB. That seems to be the imperssion that Harrison Beck got
when we recruited him, and look where it got us.

Keller has proven that he can be succesful at the Division 1-A level.
I'm sure Beau Davis is a nice guy, but unless he's made himself into one
of the biggest improvements in the history of college football or NU
suffers some devastating injuries at QB, there's no way he'll ever be
the starter. I think Ganz has an upside, but I honestly don't see him
starting over Keller in 2007 (if all works as planned).
At the very least, the competition will help all 3.
